Auburn University College of Architecture, Design & Construction
A Different Lens

Architects. Designers. Engineers. They see the world through a unique lens. Beyond a more beautiful world, their vision includes a better life for people and entire communities. They make the buildings and products we use and take for granted safer, more efficient and easier to use. The world needs more visionary architects, designers and engineers. They’re out there. Our job is to help find and recruit them.

Our Strategy

Auburn CADC students and alumni create spaces with the best architecture firms in the world, build structures with the largest construction firms, and design consumer products for some of the worlds best brands. But you wouldn’t have known it from the existing CADC website. Simply put, our strategy was to tell this untold story.

Our Approach

Through on campus stakeholder interviews and a lengthy competitive review, we were able to carve out a unique position in the market for Auburn. Core content on the homepage would follow the theme set by the brand pillars. New landing pages for each school serve to better tell the story of student life in the CADC through beautiful videos.

Another integral part of the strategy was a complete overhaul of the site’s architecture. Redundant content was everywhere, and it was just too easy to get lost. We reorganized the site and included a fat navigation system that now allows you to get anywhere in the site within one click.

Repositioning the CADC Auburn brand, user experience improvements, and a more recruitment-focused content has made a positive impact on enrollment applications.

"We have been thrilled with Up&Up's process from discovery through the build of the site. Our new site sets a new bar in how we communicate with current students, drive admissions with prospective students, and better engage faculty and alumni."
